About Me

Born and raised in the Philippines, Filipino food will remain as the staple in my kitchen table. Through the years of being away from the home I grew up, I’ve learned to cook the familiar food that were served by my mother in our household, or even delicacies served only on special occasions. Cooking became one of my favorite things to do at home. I want to serve my family and entertain guests. I am so grateful that even my kids have learned to eat and crave for it. They were born and raised in the Midwest but more than often, prefer Filipino food over the common American diet. I have compiled some of the favorite recipes that our family enjoy and share them with you here.
