Lent Delights

Catholics are required to observe abstinence on few holy days during lent. Traditionally, in some countries or culture, abstinence is also practiced every Friday all year long. The obligatory days for abstinence are Ash Wednesday, Good Friday and all other Fridays during the lent season for 14 years and older practicing Catholic. Some also observe Paschal Fast where they fast and abstain from meat from Holy Thursday to Easter Vigil (Saturday night) to honor the suffering and death of Jesus Christ. Others may also choose to abstain for the whole 40 days of lent season. I made this compilation to help you plan and prepare meatless meals during these times. Hope you enjoy and please drop some feedback for improvement and other recipes that you want to see in the list. Have a blessed Lent Season everyone!
