Jordan Pond Pop-overs

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups Whole Milk
  • 1 3/4 cups Bread or all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 3 large Eggs

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 450o F.   Spray popover pan generously with butter or canola oil.  
  • Add all ingredient in a blender and blend until smooth.  Scrape the sides and blend again to make sure all ingredients are mixed evenly.  Set aside at room temperature for about an hour.
  • Meanwhile, place the pan in a cookie sheet and put it in the oven for about 10 minutes to warm.  Pour the batter into the pan to almost full.
  • Bake at 450o F for 15 minutes and reduce the oven temperature to 375o F and continue baking for another 15 minutes or until the pop-over is golden brown.
  • Remove and serve immediately with butter and your favorite jam or caramel sauce.
