Ingredients
  

  • 6 large Eggs
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce (preferred Kikkoman)
  • 2 tbsp Mirin (preferred Kikkoman)
  • 2 tbsp Honey or sugar
  • 2 tbsp Chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp Crushed and minced garlic

Method
 

  1. Make the hard boiled eggs based on your preference. See below for a reference I use. I prefer to cook it in boiling water for 6 minutes and drop it in ice water to stop the cooking. Peel off the shells.
  2. Mix all other ingredients in a sauce pan on low heat until sugar dissolves well. Cool and transfer to a ziplock bag. Add the boiled eggs and marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
