Pork Roast Adobo

Traditional taste of adobo on a pork roast.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 whole Pork shoulder butt (about 4 lbs)
  • 6 Cloves Garlic
  • Salt and pepper
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
Marinade
  • 8 Cloves Crushed garlic
  • 1/2 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup Vinegar
  • 3 tbsp Crushed black pepper
  • 4 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce (optional)
  • 1 cup Water

Method
 

  1. Mix thoroughly all marinade ingredients on a bowl and set aside.
  2. Crushed garlic together with salt and pepper. Rub thoroughly on the roast and set aside.
  3. Using IP set on SAUTE, heat oil and brown each the sides of the roast. When done press CANCEL.
  4. Add the marinade. Set the IP to PRESSURE COOK for 60 minutes. Do NPR.
  5. Serve with the sauce. Enjoy with steamed rice.
